Great food! The plate variety is so good it's difficult to not try everything in the menu. Happy hour is great if you plan to grab a beer. Service is quick too 9/10.

Mountain of Mapo Tofu! I will admit to being a big Szechuan Mapo Tofu fan and Japanese is different, but I wasn't a fan of this one. The recipe calls for a lot of cornstarch, so it was like a sweet pork flavored rice with some tofu. We came near closing time and the server was hovering as soon as they brought out the food, so I'm a sad to say the experience this time wasn't nearly as impressive.

Just ate here for the first time and can't wait to come back. Friendly and quick service, affordable prices, delicious food and large portions! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. This Mapo Tofu Ramen was good, but definitely on the sweet side and different than most ramen. I loved the flavor and tofu though.

My family and I have been regulars at Eboshi for years now! Large portions and soo tasty. Although this is a "ramen bar" I actually have never tried their ramen because I've loved some of the other dishes I've tried and just have to get it every time. My favorite dish is the combination, which comes with their fried rice, and you get the option between the Tori karaage or gyoza. The fried rice is tasty and I like adding the homemade seasoning that is available on the table. The batter on the karaage has the perfect texture.. so crispy! The chicken has a lot of flavor and tastes like it was marinated before. I like dipping the karaage in my own sauce I make from the sauces offered on the table - a combination of the vinegar, soy sauce & chili oil. The gyoza is so delicious and unique. Definitely homemade. Can't wait to come back! (And eventually I'll try the ramen haha)

Summary: delicious food, outstanding service, affordable price, will come back We decided to give this place a try for lunch after hearing so many positive reviews about their food. When we arrived, the indoor seating was packed, so we opted to sit outside. It's worth noting that the outdoor seating area can attract flies, which is not something the restaurant can control, but it might affect your experience. For our meal, we ordered the Eboshi special fried rice (with chashu), curry ramen, and chashu pork shoyu ramen. The fried rice and shoyu ramen were delightful, but the curry ramen left me with some questions. I've had curry udon and soba before, and they usually feature noodles in a rich curry sauce. However, the Eboshi curry ramen was actually ramen in ramen broth with curry roux on top. This required me to mix it in with the broth before eating. The taste was a bit unusual, quite different from what I expected. It came across as quite salty and heavy, which didn't quite suit my taste. The portions were generous, and I struggled to finish my ramen. The service was excellent, with attentive and fast service staff who checked on us regularly. I would definitely consider returning to explore other items on their menu.
